Gitxaala Nii Luutiksm Kitkatla Conservancy
Gitxaala Nii Luutiksm Kitkatla Conservancy is located on the North Coast in the traditional territories of the Gitxaala, Lax Kw'alaams and Metlakatla Nations. The conservancy was created in 2006 and covers 28,029 hectares.

Gitxaala Nii Luutiksm/Kitkatla Conservancy
Gitxaala Nii Luutiksm/Kitkatla Conservancy is located on Porcher Island south west of Prince Rupert. The terrain of Gitxaala Nii Luutiksm/Kitkatla Conservancy is low-lying with many small islands and inlets.
The conservancy protects a wide range of marine and terrestrial resources that have a long history of use by First Nations peoples. Marine resources include seaweed, cockle, salmon, and, herring roe-on-kelp harvesting, high value waterfowl habitat, and a grey whale rubbing beach.
