Dzawadi/Upper Klinaklini River Conservancy and Upper Klinaklini Protected Area
Dzawadi/Upper Klinaklini River Conservancy and Upper Klinaklini Protected Area includes a portion of the middle reach of the Klinaklini River and is a valley bottom corridor surrounded by stunning glaciers and some of the largest mountains on the coast.
Encompassing an ecologically unique trans montain valley, the conservancy provides low-elevation connectivity between moist coastal ecosystems and dry interior ecosystems. The corridor is a major flyway for migratory birds and a travel corridor for grizzly bears.
