Wales Harbour Conservancy
Wales Harbour Conservancy is located on the North Coast in the traditional territories of the Lax Kw'alaams and Metlakatla Nations. The conservancy was created in 2008 and covers 666 hectares.

Wales Harbour Conservancy
Wales Harbour Conservancy was established as part of the government’s land use decision for the North Coast planning area. This conservancy protects an important recreational anchorage and the viewscape within Wales Harbour. The conservancy also contains the site of the last commercial fish cannery to operate in the Nass/Portland Canal area. The area also contains important migratory waterfowl habitat.
